it's extremely alarming and disturbing when you finally realise that in a very warped and twisted way, you and the most unlikely person are actually remarkably alike. it's almost as if the both of you are the same person, but in parallel and different universes. so when friends scold and accuse this other person, you indirectly feel as if they are scolding you, although they may not mean to or realise it. and you feel this particular sense of indignance, because the both of you are the same after all. nothing's ever just either black or white. nothing's ever as simple and straightforward as it seems. everything's really just shades of grey. the direction and angle you're looking from determines what you see. some things are just nobody's fault. as the saying goes, don't judge a man until you've walked two moons in his mocassins.
